We are very excited to announce significant progress in the development of Encore 5 for Windows. On November 21, we made Encore 5b1 available to our team of beta testers and they have been very active in assisting us as they have been during the entire development process. Thank you all!

During this process, we decided to add a VST host application for Encore 5. This will enable you to easily use instrument sample libraries.

The Gvox VST Host was designed with our customers’ work habits in mind. You have told us that you like the way Encore launches to a blank score very quickly (approx 15 sec.) and doesn’t waste time loading sounds and assigning MIDI instruments. This way, you can write down your idea faster! The Gvox VST Host will launch when you want to use it or you may choose not use it at all.  As always, we allow you to control how our software performs.

The release date for Encore 5 for windows has not yet been set pending the testing process, but we’re coming round the final bend and should see the finish line soon.
